History
Our Library history
Clearview Public Library was created in 1994 as a result of the amalgamation of the municipalities of the Town of Stayner, the Village of Creemore and the Townships of Nottawasaga and Sunnidale. Clearview Public Library consists of three library branches located in the Clearview Township communities of Stayner, Creemore and New Lowell.
Local History
All branches of the Clearview Public Library have Local History collections. These include books on local churches, community groups, schools, Women’s Institutes, family histories etc. As well, our Creemore Branch has microfilm reels of our local newspapers and indexes of our local cemeteries.
